Overview
Despite all the best planning, medical emergencies can occur in your palliative patients. Rapid recognition and response is vital to ensure reduced suffering and maintain quality of your palliative patient’s life.

Learning areas

  • Gain or refresh your knowledge to be vigilant to the signs or symptoms of a palliative medical emergency in your patient.
  • Maintain quality of life for a palliative patient and avoid unnecessary suffering.
  • Understand and respect the patient’s wishes and concerns
  • Know when to involve or link back into palliative care services.

PaSCE will be charging a non-attendance fee for all events where there has been no notice of cancellation prior to the event. The fee will be the cost of the event for paid events or $20 per person for free events.

Tailored education to meet specific requirements is available as we continue to improve and develop our programs to meet the growing demand for palliative and supportive care education.
